Congratulations to our own Karen Nejedlik, who was named the American Platform Tennis Association's (APTA) Volunteer of The Month for January/February.

And a worthy distinction it is.
As a member of the Cleveland Platform Tennis Foundation board, Karen is working hard to make our vision of the Flats Platform Tennis Center a reality. She is involved in numerous aspects of the project's planning and execution, putting in significant hours and effort, and serving as an inspiration to us all.
Of course, this is just the latest facet of her decades-long involvement with the Cleveland paddle community. As the article in the January/February edition of Platform Tennis Magazine points out, Karen has donated her time and energy to numerous paddle efforts. Furthermore, she is also one of those rare individuals who actually prefers to hit a backhand service return.
